Intertextuality Example

This is when something can be put into something else. For instance films can be put into other films or re-made like them.



Here is an example of Intertextuality used from the film 'Psycho'. The Simpsons remade the scene where we see an extreme close-up of the eye and face. as seen in 'Psycho' also. They producers of Simpsons had taken this specific  scene from Psycho, when the victim had died.
