Influence

Im not very influenced by thrillers as they are not my favorite movie genre, but in my media lesson, we watched the opening to the film Memento, there was an extreme close up in the opening:

It made the opening much more effective and had a considerable impact on me as a viewer because the shadowing made it look quite mysterious and eerie. The way it was shot was very clever and it gave me an idea to add it into our final pieces for effect.
