Genre and Sub-genre and Audience

Thrillers have different types of sub-genres. Films like In time , Frozen or The Losers are all examples of thrillers but under a different sub genre.

In Time
This movie is a Sci-fi/Romantic thriller. I believe the target audience is ages 15 and on-wards seen as its romantic, there may be sexual scenes. Other than that from other images of this movie it is evident that there will be sci-fi features for instance the time on his hands, and the guns etc.
                










Frozen
This is a psychological-survival thriller. the target audience is ages of 15 again, as this is an example of a horrifying thriller. The director and writer Adam Green enraptured the genre really well, as just by the image it draws the audience in.





The Losers
 This movie is an Action Thriller seen as most actors are holding guns or other weapons. Th bright colors in the background also imply some sort of action or 'wow' factor that may happen.






All these chosen movies show sub-genres within the thriller genre. There are also thrillers that are comedy, supernatural, political and mystery.
